Ngl a Splatoon survival horror could work with...Kamabo Co.! Imo the scary experiments there would be EXTRA creepy!! It could also be like a deep dive into what happened during and before octo expansion, and it also could look more into sanitization! It could also probably happen after OE and Side Order, possibly making Tartar be repaired and become a returning villain? As for other stuff, I think playing as the idols (especially Deep Cut) in their own story chapters would be sick! I LOVE OFF THE HOOK, buuuuut we barely know anything about Deep Cut's origins, so that should be explored as well!

If the devs go full force with how the GrandFest affects the next game, I think it would be cool for team past to send us to the great turf war, team present could show us the events of splatoon 3 from a different point of view (like agent 4 or an octarian soldier), and team future would be what everyone expects from the next splatoon game

What about a story mode campaign about you stranded on a secret island and you go underground and discover the secrets of any villain and then a dlc where at the end, Squid sisters, off the hook, and deep all fight a amalgamation of all splatoon villains while fighting Ina space where different portals lead to other timeliness like the great turf war and stuff. And then after the big fight all villains come free and apologized for what have they done in the past games.

Although I feel like gliding being something anyone could do would be a bit much, I think having something like a special or even a new weapon have this mechanic would be nice

i love splatoon but i have gotten more and more burntout with the gameplay loop apart from Salmonrun. it aventually just becomes kinda boring to do the same things for so many years. i kinda hope they will shake up the gameplay in the next one. i secretly also want a full salmonrun game instead of it being a side mode with a ton of new features and stuff

As someone who is interested in Splatoon but never player because I prefer single player games, I would pay full price for a game that is just the three story modes and the two DLC's from the first three games. Alternatively, A single player game set in the Splatoon universe would also be awesome.

I do damn wish we have like a big adventure game like MMORPG but with MORE bosses. something inspired like Bowser Fury. cuz this game feels short of many places to explore. no other countries has been mentioned like other places. we are stuck on inkadia for like a long time. also more animation something wacky or toony that affects inklings and octolings! i want more adventures like splatoon but no dramas.

4 needs all the customizable features from 2's private battles. It's baffling how 3 doesn't have Splatfest private matches, also challenges need to be at least in private matches. I'd love a spin-off to understand more of the history and culture of Inkling society. Remember when there where dataminer rumors about a survival samonid mode?
